In essence, this means that we will handle your tax issues from gathering information, to completing the return, to answering IRS letters, and if necessary, representing you before the IRS.  In addition, we require that each associate maintain a minimum of 40 CPE hours of tax preparation training including but not limited to Ethics and Current Year Tax Law Changes.

Nancy C. McCann, the Managing Partner, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the field of Accounting. Drawing on 40+ years of professional experience, Nancy enjoys the challenge of paying the lowest taxes allowable by law and receiving the largest refund. Proud to provide her clients with high quality and mindful services, she lists as one of her main priorities the importance of continuing education. In 2007, after 3 years of extensive study, Nancy received the status as an Enrolled Agent with the IRS in an effort to serve her clients more effectively.

She believes that belonging to NATP (National Association of Tax Professionals) and attending educational events is imperative for her to maintain vitality and awareness of the tax issues and ever-changing regulations facing her clients today. Each year she concentrates on the topics that are in the forefront of her client's concerns and spends time gaining the knowledge to best fill those concerns. In 2010 her efforts were spent on Foreclosures and Short Sales , Debt Cancellation Income and Exclusions, Net Operating Losses, Retirement Plans, Offers In Compromise, and Divorce: Before, During and After. In an effort to stay on the cutting edge of technology, she also spends time researching the current software, bank products, and other tax- related products and services. In addition, Nancy finds that spending time interacting with other professionals in the field gives her the added insight into various "special circumstances" that arise in the preparation of returns.

As a Vietnam Veteran in the US Air Force, Nancy held the rank of Non-commissioned Officer in charge of Officer Performance Reports for the Pacific Air Command. As such, she has the highest respect for those who have unselfishly served our country in protecting our rights and freedoms.

She has devoted time and continued support to orphanages around the world through such organizations as Orphanage Outreach in the Dominican Republic and The Promise House in South Africa.
